LJ Hooker Group Appoints New General Manager of Marketing
LJ Hooker Group has announced the appointment of Stephan Gervois as General Manager of Marketing for its house of brands.
Mr Gervois, who brings more than 15 years’ experience in marketing and supporting strategic growth for franchise brands will be critical in driving the Group’s lead generation strategy for its network of offices and brand development across Australia and New Zealand.
Commenting on the appointment, LJ Hooker Group CEO Christine Mikhael, said she was pleased to welcome someone as experienced in franchise marketing as Mr Gervois.

“Stephan's versatility, innovation, and data-driven approach have resulted in him successfully leading high-performing franchise teams across Australia and New Zealand and transforming business performance throughout his career working with global brands such as Coca-Cola and Vodafone.
“His previous experience working with category-leading brands like the franchise Mortgage Choice has given him the expertise and insight needed to understand the needs of franchising and what tangibly contributes to their success.
“I am confident that Stephan's creative thinking and strategic insight will enable our house of brands to remain fresh and competitive in the ever-evolving property market.”
At Mortgage Choice, Mr Gervois reshaped the customer experience and digitalised processes across 500 franchise businesses and played a crucial role in the business’ transformation following the realestate.com.au acquisition.
“Stephan made significant contributions during his tenure at Mortgage Choice, where he was instrumental in driving the brand’s growth of 25 percent in just 12 months. Moreover, his expertise in developing marketing and business strategies resulted in an impressive 98 percent increase in national leads,” Ms Mikhael said.
“We are laser-focused on ensuring we continue to deliver value and do more for all our networks at every stage. This means investing in the right talent and executing strategies that will support growth across all markets and through all market conditions.
“Stephan’s appointment reflects the strategic importance and growth potential of our offerings to our network of offices and consumers.”
Supporting Mr Gervois is a team of marketing specialists across brand, performance marketing and social media.
On his appointment, Mr Gervois said his, and the team’s, focus will be to drive all aspects of lead generation in a challenging and competitive market.
