LJ Hooker principal opens Cabooluture | Morayfield office

Longstanding LJ Hooker Principal Craig Gillard has extended his ownership within the group, opening LJ Hooker Caboolture | Morayfield this month.

It's the third LJ Hooker office for Mr Gillard, adding to his existing agencies at Cairns Beaches and Bribie Island.

Caboolture, Morayfield and Bribie Island are closely connected communities within the Moreton Bay Council area.

Mr Gillard — part of LJ Hooker’s Top 10% of agents — anticipates greater exposure for his sellers and landlords through the strategic expansion.

“A lot of people who live in Bribie have retired here from Caboolture, Morayfield and surrounding suburbs.” said Mr Gillard. “A lot holidayed here when they were younger and have made the move later in life.

“There's always been a strong connection between the two communities even though they are an hour's drive apart.”

LJ Hooker Caboolture | Morayfield will be a full-service agency.

Caboolture and Morayfield have been popular communities for young families seeking affordability and amenities.

The suburbs outperformed the Brisbane market over the last year. According to CoreLogic, Caboolture’s and Morayfield’s median house price increased to $710,000 over the last 12 months, reflecting improvements of 17.5% and 14.4%, respectively.

Both suburbs are serviced by train stations. Commuters in the area enjoyed a windfall this month with the State Government committing to 50 cent fares across all travel zones. Some in the region who travel to Brisbane for work will save thousands of dollars per year under the initiative.

“I’m very excited about the immediate future of the area,” said Mr Gillard. “The addition of Caboolture | Morayfield presents further opportunities for our investors, as well.”
