LJ Hooker Property Centre Goes Into Overdrive With Spring Market Campaign Launch
The LJ Hooker Property Centre is again giving property owners the chance to win a brand-new Mitsubishi Mirage valued at almost $20,000, following last year’s highly successful spring promotion.
Every sales or rental listing received between September 1 and November 30 by the office, located in Cleveland in Brisbane’s south-east, will go into the exclusive draw aimed at motivating those contemplating selling to act.
LJ Hooker sales manager, Graeme Carmichael, said last year’s listing campaign was so successful – attracting around 200 entrants - they have decided to run it again.
“Offices tends to stick to the ‘traditional’ giveaways, like a hamper, so we thought we’d go big,” Mr Carmichael said.
“We came up with the idea last year in response to the challenges posed by COVID-19 where people where in two-minds about what to do next.
“If people are doing it tough obviously a car can help if they need one. There is also the option of trading it straight back to the dealership in exchange for cash.
“For our agents and property managers, it gives them a reason to go back to their database and have another conversation with the vendor or investor about making the move now.”
Stephen Mutton, Head of Network Performance for LJ Hooker, said it is a great initiative and one that gives back to the community.
“LJ Hooker has always been very community-focused and it is great to see an office getting back to the roots of our business and supporting others,” he said.
Demand for property in Brisbane’s Redlands City area remains high with upgraders and first-time buyers keen to purchase in the area. More recently, there has also been an increase in the number of interstate purchasers looking to move to the region.
Mr Carmichael said the market has picked up since Brisbane’s week-long lockdown at the start of August, with agents now preparing for a busy spring market.
“Brisbane remains relatively affordable, so there has been a lot of buyers coming up from Sydney who are looking to move here and work remotely,” Mr Carmichael said.
The owner of every sales or rental listing will be entered in the car draw to be held on December 3 – just in time for Christmas.
There will be 10 finalists drawn and each will be given a random number. They will then attend Bartons Mitsubishi Capalaba and assigned a lucky box – one of which will contain set of keys.
