LJ Hooker Property Partners Taps into $2bn Mount Gravatt Market
Two of Brisbane’s top agents are leading the expansion of award-winning LJ Hooker Property Partners, broadening the agency's presence in the city’s south.
Kosma Comino and Karl Gillespie will utilise the agency’s profile and brand-offering to drive growth throughout Mount Gravatt and the wider 4122 postcode to the east of the Pacific Motorway.
LJ Hooker Property Partners has been the leading agency on the other side of the Motorway – the dominant brand for three decades in the corridor from Robertson to Parkinson. It’s been named LJ Hooker’s Top International Office several times over.
Team Leader Comino and Senior Sales Agent Gillespie have grown through LJ Hooker Property Partners to be recognised amongst the Group’s top 0.5% of agents internationally.
Comino said the team would utilise the tech, marketing platforms, lead generation solutions and training support that’s made LJ Hooker Property Partners a benchmark for the industry to provide an unmatched experience to sellers.
He said they would also uphold the brand’s auction culture in the new location.
“For decades, LJ Hooker Property Partners has advocated auctions as the most effective way to achieve competition and premium outcomes for sellers,” said Comino.
“Ninety percent of my sales over the last year were achieved via auctions and Karl is likewise a great auction agent.”
Comino said the brand’s trusted reputation also resonated with sellers.
“A significant proportion of the 4122 market is retirees and empty nesters who are looking to downsize, and they trust the LJ Hooker name,” he said.
“Around Sunnybank Hills, everyone gravitates to LJ Hooker, and we’re excited to foster the same relationships in Mount Gravatt and surrounds.”
LJ Hooker Property Partners Partner and Sales Director, Lachlan Smith said the expansion exposed the office to a $2bn market encompassing 10-15 suburbs.
“No office has won market share around 4122 in the same way LJ Hooker Property Partners has won market share in the corridor linking Robertson, Sunnybank Hills and Calamvale,” Smith said.
“Kos and Karl are dynamic young real estate professionals who already have established profiles in the area. Basing themselves out of Mount Gravatt will deliver efficiencies that will underpin an even greater client experience for sellers.”
LJ Hooker General Manager of Network, Stephen Mutton, congratulated LJ Hooker Property Partners on the expansion.
"Kos and Karl have come through our learning and development programs and been mentored by their senior partners to become industry leaders,” said Mutton.
“Our Network Performance Team looks forward to helping Lachlan and the other partners assist Karl and Kos in winning the 4122 postcode.
“With their existing market knowledge and sales expertise, supported by LJ Hooker’s brand marketing, advanced digital marketing experience, and lead generation initiatives, LJ Hooker Property Partners will offer sellers industry-leading results.”
