Million-Dollar Brothers Return Home to LJ Hooker
Million-dollar agents Ben and Jonas Leong have returned to Brisbane-based LJ Hooker Property Partners, the network’s reigning Top International Office.
After a three-year hiatus at another agency in Brisbane’s south, the high-performing brothers have rekindled their relationship with LJ Hooker Property Partners where they previously spent more than eight years, becoming a leading sales force in the ultra-competitive Sunnybank Hills market.
The duo, who have sold more than $600m worth of property over two decades, work in tandem as Lead Agents. In the partnership, Ben undertakes the majority of prospecting while Jonas manages the back-end processes, with both involved in client engagement and buyer negotiations.
LJ Hooker Property Partners’ Partner and Sales Director Lachlan Smith welcomed the return of the brothers to the agency.
“Ben and Jonas are a million-dollar team with their partnership providing a holistic level of service to their sellers,” he said.
“LJ Hooker Property Partners has an office full of high-performers and Ben and Jonas perfectly complement our standards and vision.”
Prior to leaving LJ Hooker, Ben and Jonas were both members in LJ Hooker’s prestigious Captains Club with Ben achieving ‘Life Elite’ status.
The brothers, now aged in their mid-40s, have been working together since teenagers at McDonalds.
Specialising in the 4109 postcode, the brothers – who also speak Mandarin and Hakka - have watched the evolution of the market over their time in real estate, with older homes on generous parcels of land in Sunnybank Hills knocked down and replaced with bespoke architectural designs.
According to CoreLogic, Sunnybank Hills has a current median house price of $930,000, representing 6.9% growth over the last 12 months.
Ben said he and Jonas were excited to return to LJ Hooker.
“The systems and marketing support are the best an agent can have to optimise their productivity,” Ben said. “And working alongside LJ Hooker Property Partners’ sales team again is inspiring – being amongst the best brings out the best in you.”
Jonas said: “We both have two decades of experience in real estate and bring to our client offering different skill sets,” said Jonas. “I think that’s what’s made our partnership successful.
“It’s great to bring our partnership back to an award-winning culture.”
LJ Hooker General Manager of Network, Steve Mutton, said the return of the brothers underlined the service offering of the brand.
“Ben and Jonas are highly experienced and their decision to come back to LJ Hooker Property Partners is a clear demonstration of the support and values the office and brand delivers,” said Mr Mutton.
“LJ Hooker Property Partners, like all our offices, is committed to supporting aspirational agents, property managers and support specialists achieve their professional goals in a collaborative environment.”
